Effective October 24, 2026·Last updated October 24, 2026

This policy explains how FireFrag handles personal information when you play our games, use our apps, visit this website, or work with us on advertising and creative services. We have tried to write it clearly — and to collect as little as possible.

01Scope

This Privacy Policy is issued by FireFrag, an independent developer (“FireFrag”, “we”, “us”). It applies to our games, apps and advertising services, the web (including H5 games) and this website (together, the “Services”).

It explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and how you can exercise your rights. If a particular game has its own privacy notice, that notice applies to it; where the two differ, the more specific notice prevails.

By using our Services you confirm that you have read and understood this policy. If you do not agree with it, please stop using the relevant Services.

02Information we collect

We collect as little as we can. Where a game can be played without an account, you do not need to create one.

Information you give us

  • Your email address, problem description, screenshots and device details when you contact support;
  • Responses to surveys or playtests, if you take part;
  • An optional nickname or avatar, if a game offers one;
  • Business contact details and campaign information when you contact us about advertising or partnerships.

Information collected automatically

  • Device model, operating system version, system language, and an approximate region (country or city level) inferred from your IP address;
  • App version, game progress, level events, session length, and crash or performance logs;
  • Advertising identifiers, where advertising is enabled and only with consent where required;
  • Where purchases are offered, purchase receipts and transaction status (processed by the app store or payment provider — we never see your full card number);
  • Server logs for this website (IP address, browser type, request path and time), processed by our hosting provider, Cloudflare.

Information stored on your device

  • Game progress, settings and preferences;
  • localStorage / sessionStorage used by H5 games (for example, progress and settings);
  • Uninstalling an app or clearing site data in your browser deletes this local information.

Information we do not collect

  • Precise GPS location;
  • Contacts, SMS or call history;
  • Photos, camera or microphone content — unless a specific game feature requires it and asks for your permission first;
  • Government identification, biometric data or payment card numbers.

03How we use information

  • To provide and maintain the Services, including saving progress, cloud saves (where enabled) and purchase status;
  • To improve difficulty, performance and stability — for example by analysing aggregated level events and crash logs;
  • To answer your questions and handle refunds and data rights requests;
  • To plan, deliver and measure advertising and creative campaigns for our partners;
  • Where advertising is enabled, to show ads (personalised only with consent) and measure them;
  • To prevent cheating, fraud and abuse, and to keep the Services and our players safe;
  • To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from authorities.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that has a legal or similarly significant effect on you.

04Service providers and advertising

Depending on the game and its features, we may use service providers for app distribution, hosting, crash reporting, analytics, purchases and advertising. Depending on the service, these providers may act as independent controllers or as processors on our behalf. Their handling is governed by their own privacy policies and, where required, by a data processing agreement with us.

Specific providers depend on the game and may change. Email support@firefrag.com for the current list.

05Advertising and your choices

Some games may show advertising. Where personalised advertising is enabled, we may share limited information such as advertising identifiers, IP address, device data and ad interactions with advertising partners so they can select and measure ads. We do this only where permitted by law and, where required, with your consent. You can change or withdraw your choice in the game or your device settings.

You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings. To object to personalised advertising or withdraw consent, use the in-game privacy settings where available, your device settings, or email support@firefrag.com.

We do not sell your personal information for money. California residents can opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information as described under “Do not sell or share” below.

06Do not sell or share

We do not sell personal information for money. If you are a California resident and wish to opt out of the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, email support@firefrag.com with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share”. You may also use an authorised agent to submit a request.

We will confirm receipt within 10 days and respond within 45 days as required by California law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising this right.

This opt-out covers sharing for personalised advertising. It does not affect data we process for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or to provide a service you requested.

07Cookies and similar technologies

This website is a static site. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking technologies on this website, and the website itself does not set browser storage. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set strictly necessary cookies for security and abuse prevention (for example, __cf_bm).

H5 games may use localStorage to keep progress and settings. This data stays in your browser; we cannot read it from our servers unless you submit it to us.

You can clear or block local storage in your browser settings. Doing so may reset progress or settings in H5 games.

08How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share limited information with advertising partners as described in this policy.

  • Service providers: the minimum information required for the functions listed above;
  • Legal and safety: to comply with the law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, property and safety of our players, the public and ourselves;
  • Business transfers: information may transfer as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. We will notify you and require the recipient to honour this policy to the extent permitted by law;
  • With your consent: in other circumstances, we will ask for your explicit consent before sharing.

09How long we keep information

We keep information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. Retention depends on the type of information and the game.

  • Support correspondence: for as long as needed to resolve and document the request;
  • Analytics and crash data: for the period configured for the relevant game or provider;
  • Purchase and tax records: for the period required by tax and accounting law;
  • Advertising identifiers: until you withdraw consent or the period set by the relevant provider expires.

When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it. Once a deletion request is completed, we may keep a minimal record to prove the request was fulfilled, prevent fraud, or meet a legal obligation.

10Security

We transmit data over HTTPS/TLS, restrict internal access, perform baseline security reviews of our providers, and avoid retaining data we do not need.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a security incident is likely to affect your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

11International transfers

We and our providers may process information outside the country or region where you live. Where required, we use contractual safeguards (such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses) and other lawful transfer mechanisms, and require providers to protect data to a standard consistent with this policy.

12Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the information we hold about you and obtain a copy;
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • Delete your information, where the law allows;
  • Restrict or object to our processing;
  • Receive your information in a structured, machine-readable format (portability);
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing;
  • Complain to your local data protection authority;
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To make a request, email support@firefrag.com. To protect your information we may need to verify your identity — usually by checking the minimum information tied to your account, purchase or device. We respond within one month for GDPR/UK requests and within 45 days for California requests, unless the law permits an extension; we will tell you if we need more time.

13Regional rights

European Economic Area, UK and Switzerland

  • We rely on the following legal bases: performance of our contract with you (providing the games), legitimate interests (improving and securing the Services), your consent (personalised ads), and compliance with legal obligations.
  • You may withdraw consent at any time; prior processing remains lawful. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority (the ICO in the UK).

California, United States

  • You have the right to know, access, delete, correct and limit the use of sensitive personal information, and to use an authorised agent to make requests.
  • You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information for money. To opt out of sharing for personalised advertising, see “Do not sell or share” below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

14Accounts and deletion

Where a game does not require an account, you can play without one. If a game offers an optional account or cloud save, you can delete it in the game’s settings, or submit a request through our data deletion page.

When an account is deleted, the associated progress, cloud saves and preferences are deleted. Purchase records may be retained where required for tax, accounting or legal reasons. See the deletion page for the full process and timeline.

Data deletion page: firefrag.com/data-deletion.

15Third-party links

Our website or games may link to third-party sites, such as app stores, social platforms or provider pages. Those sites are not covered by this policy; please review their own privacy policies.

16Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The new version will be published on this page and the “Last updated” date at the top will change.

If a change materially affects your rights, we will notify you in-game or by email, and ask for your consent again where the law requires it.

17Contact us
